An incredible military drill display got off to a flying start when a military transport did a low pass overhead.

The U.S. Marines' performance kicked off this year’s so-called Battle Color Detachment Tour.

The event sees the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, the Silent Drill Platoon, and the Marine Corps Color Guard take their skills on a nationwide tour of America.

Impressive pictures show marines of the Silent Drill Platoon, Marine Barracks Washington, execute their “long line” sequence during which a Blue Angels’ “Fat Albert” C-130J Super Hercules aircraft did a fly-over at Marine Corps Air Station, in Yuma, Ariz.

Marine Barracks Washington posted: "Excellence is the Standard. The Marines of the Silent Drill Platoon represent the Marine Corps' high standard of excellence, as well as the men and women who have made sacrifices for their country."
