Heartwarming baby monitor footage shows a 4-year-old boy sneaking his 2-year-old brother out of his crib in the cutest way.

Yakoov Hal devised the mischievous plan to continue to play time by convincing little Elisha to swing his leg over the top of the crib and promising to catch him.

Elisha bravely sticks his leg over the barrier and Yakoov is overcome with pride and yells “My big boy!”

Then, once the toddler makes a successful landing, Yakoov says the sweetest thing: “I told you. As long we’re together, nothing can stop us.”

The boy's mother, Tiffany Ashley Hal, 32, went to investigate after hearing talking in the bedroom and was shocked to find Elisha had escaped from his crib.

“I was like, ‘Excuse me mister, how did you get out of your crib?’ Yaakov looked at Elisha smiling and then he looked at me and said, ‘I helped him, mommy!’”

Tiffany added: “When I saw the video, I was so touched and full of love that I let them play for a half hour. It was too sweet.”

She believes the recent 2023 release of "Super Mario Bros. Movie" is to blame for the antics and brotherly love.

“Yaakov already takes his big brother role very seriously,” said Tiffany. “That movie reaffirmed his role even more.”

In the movie, Mario repeatedly says that same line to Luigi, and it clearly stuck.

The Hal family, who live in Toronto, Canada, have now replaced Elisha’s crib with a toddler bed.

Even though Tiffany did explain to the boys the danger of Elisha escaping from his crib, and the importance of going to bed when it’s time to, she couldn’t be too upset at them.

She added: “I don’t ever want to ruin or discourage their bond, so I just kept praising them.”

She added: “My husband and I are huge on family values and we really teach our boys how important it is to love one another, to always protect and be there for each other.

“At the end of the day, there is no one closer to you than family.”
