Incredible POV video of race at Wingsuit World Championship

Watch this incredible POV video of the air racing winner at the Wingsuit World Championship in China.

American wingsuiter Yahor Arlou won the air racing title in 25.041 seconds at the ninth World Wingsuit League (WWL) Wingsuit World Championship.

The final eight competitors jumped in turns from the nearly 1,400-meter-high Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie, central China's Hunan Province on Sunday.

Arlou took first place with a nearly flawless performance after two rounds of competition.

He said: "This is the group of the world's best wingsuit pilots. So I think it's a tough competition and my goal is to have fun and be safe and definitely do my best. And at the very least try to improve my own time."

This is Arlou's fourth appearance at the World Championship, after 2017, 2018 and 2019, and he placed third in the air racing event in 2019.

South Africa's Jean Jacques Wallis and Scott Paterson of Australia came second and third respectively.

Zhang Shupeng, the only Chinese competitor in the event, qualified for the final with his fifth-placed finish in the preliminary round before settling for fifth in the final.
