Two Daleks from the BBC TV show "Doctor Who" are up for auction.

The villains first appeared in the long-running sci-fi series in 1963 and will be auctioned off at John Rolfe Auctions, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, on February 10.

Auctioneer John Rolfe said: “These have come in privately, with no reserves, so here to be sold in a collector sale.

"We’ve got further collector’s items from film and television, including some Muhammad Ali photography."

The red Dalek is believed to have formed part of an exhibition at Longleat, Wiltshire.

The bronze counterpart is thought to have been featured on TV in the relaunched Doctor Who series in the early 2000s.

It is equipped with a seat and controls for its weapons, and saleroom manager Ali Lidbetter took it for a spin around the warehouse.

A coat in the style of Colin Baker’s Doctor and a knitted scarf will also go under the hammer in the Collectors’ Sale.
