Star Wars’ C-3PO to fetch up to $1M at Hollywood auction
Other props up for auction include Freddy Krueger's stunt mask from "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and Marty McFly's guitar from "Back to the Future."

A Star Wars C-3PO head is the highlight of a blockbuster Hollywood auction.
The Return of the Jedi light-up prop is expected to fetch up to $1M at a Propstore sale next month.
Also featured is a chopper motorcycle from Easy Rider, Marty McFly's guitar from Back to the Future, and a scary Freddy Krueger mask.
Other highlights include Sandy Olsson's (Olivia Newton-John) drive-in costume from Grease, Captain Picard's command chair from Star Trek: The Next Generation and a Stormtrooper helmet from Return of the Jedi.
Anthony Daniels, who plays C-3PO in the Star Wars franchise, says: "I hope these wonderful pieces of memorabilia find new homes where they will be displayed, respected and enjoyed by fans, who now have a chance to own a genuine piece of Star Wars history."
Over 1,700 rare and iconic lots will be sold during Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction from 12-14 March.
The sale is online and with in-room bidding at The Petersen Automotive Museum, Los Angeles.
