HALF OF AMERICANS SAY THERE’S NOT ENOUGH TIME IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON FOR EVERYTHING THEY WANT TO DO.

A DUTCH BROS AND ONEPOLL SURVEY OF 2,000 U.S. ADULTS REVEALED THAT MORE THAN HALF (54%) OF AMERICANS WISH THE HOLIDAY SEASON LASTED LONGER.

A THIRD OF THOSE SURVEYED CLAIM THEY’RE THE MOST FESTIVE PERSON THEY KNOW AND THREE IN FOUR (74%) SAY PREPPING FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON PUTS THEM IN A GOOD MOOD.

BUT FROM LAST-MINUTE SHOPPING (44%) TO WRAPPING PRESENTS (37%), THE HOLIDAYS CAN BE A LOT TO KEEP UP WITH, LEAVING TWO IN FIVE (40%) STRUGGLING TO KEEP THEMSELVES ENERGIZED DURING THE SEASON.

THE AVERAGE PERSON PUTS 30 HOURS OF WORK INTO HOLIDAY CHORES LIKE PARTY PLANNING, WRAPPING PRESENTS OR SHOVELING SNOW.

Survey methodology:

This random double-opt-in survey of 2,000 nationally representative Americans was commissioned by Dutch Bros between October 4 and October 6, 2022. It was conducted by market research company OnePoll, whose team members are members of the Market Research Society and have corporate membership to the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
