IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A RELATIONSHIP THAT WILL LAST, YOU MIGHT WANT TO VISIT … NEW HAMPSHIRE??

THAT’S BECAUSE THE GRANITE STATE HAS THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHOSE RELATIONSHIPS LASTED AT LEAST 15 YEARS, ACCORDING TO A NEW STUDY CONDUCTED BY ONEPOLL ON BEHALF OF LELO.

THE SURVEY OF 5,000 AMERICANS IN RELATIONSHIPS SPLIT EVENLY BY STATE REVEALED IF YOUR PARTNER IS FROM GEORGIA (36%) OR CALIFORNIA (28%) THEY ARE MOST LIKELY TO BE THE JEALOUS TYPE.

‘HOPELESS ROMANTICS’ ARE MOST LIKELY TO BE FOUND IN UTAH (35%), FOLLOWED BY OKLAHOMA (34%) AND WEST VIRGINIA (32%).

WISCONSIN, ON THE OTHER HAND, HAS THE HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO’VE ADMITTED THEY’VE CHEATED (52%).

THE AVERAGE PERSON HAS SERIOUSLY DATED FOUR PEOPLE, WITH THOSE FROM ILLINOIS AVERAGING THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF SERIOUS RELATIONSHIPS THROUGHOUT THEIR LIVES.

  2. A night in together — 28%
  3. Going to the movies — 22%
  4. Cooking together —- 15%
  5. Going on a long drive — 13%
  6. Shopping — 13%
  7. A romantic walk on the beach— 10%
  8. Going camping — 10%
  9. Engaging in a hobby together — 10%
  10. Game night — 9%

Survey methodology:

This random double-opt-in survey of 5,000 Americans in relationships evenly split by state was commissioned by LELO between Feb. 17 and Feb. 27, 2023. It was conducted by market research company OnePoll, whose team members are members of the Market Research Society and have corporate membership to the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
